On May 5, 2019 North West Construction (NWC) took part in the "Baku Marathon -2019" with a team of 11 people. Marathon was held in Baku on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the slogan "Win the Wind" by covering 21 km from the State Flag Square to the Olympic Stadium. All the team members have successfully reached the finish line.

The purpose of the "Baku Marathon - 2019" is to support the development of sports, to promote healthy lifestyles, to bring people together around good deeds. NWC, in its turn, created this opportunity to its employees to participate in the marathon as company gives special importance to the provision and protection of healthy life .

The Baku Marathon 2019 is the 2nd marathon in which NWC participated with its corporate staff.
