Construction of the Main Sewer Collector and Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Mushfigabad Basin

• Project location: Baku, Azerbaijan
• Scope of work: It is planned to construct 11 launching shafts with an internal diameter of 11 meters and 11 receiving shafts with an internal diameter of 8 meters, for the installation of pipes with an internal diameter of 2400 mm and an external diameter of 3000 mm using the pipe jacking method for the microtunneling process. The pipes are manufactured by our company. The shaft depths will range from 7 meters to 60 meters. The works will be carried out using a Herrenknecht 2500 microtunneling machine with an EPB (Earth Pressure Balance) system. The total tunnel length with an internal diameter of 2400 mm is 12,709 meters.
