Possesses more than 17 years of corporate and business experience.

Previously served as deputy general manager, management board member, business development manager, corporate governance, and legal manager in large regional holding companies as well as worked in his earlier career as a corporate governance expert in International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group).

Managed various teams of 15 to 600 people. Has specific experience in international transactions, government and client relationships management, business negotiations, international tenders, construction, industrial and investment projects, FIDIC contracts, commercial legal management, corporate governance as well as project finance.

Holds a degree in finance from the Azerbaijan State Economic University, a degree in business law from the University of Washington (USA) as well as two degrees in international law from the Baku State University (Azerbaijan) (with distinction).

Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, Russian and Turkish.

He was born in 1975 and is married, has two children.
