“North West Construction” was awarded with 3 Lots – Lot1, Lot2, Lot3 (total 120 km) of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Corridor 2 Karakalpakstan Road Project (A380 Kungrad to Daut-Ata Section - 240 km) which is financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and announced by State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Roads. Being strategically important transport corridor and connecting the Republic of Uzbekistan with neighboring Kazakhstan, this road marks local and international importance.

Except from the consortium of NWC with “Polatyol Yapı San. ve Tic S.A.”, more than 10 companies from 6 different countries had been participating in this tendering process.

The Project comprised 6 lots in total, each of which consisted 40 km. The first 3 Lots (Lot1, Lot2, Lot3) was awarded to the Joint Venture in which our company has been represented as a partner, and the winner of the other 3 Lots was the consortium of “China Road and Bridge Corporation”, “CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co., Ltd.,” and “Sanmenxia City Changtong Roa d and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd.”

It is important to note, that works for the execution of the project started from April, 2021. Construction is planned to be completed in 2023.
